Solid motor mounts

Im about to drop the engine in, and was wondering about solid mounts? The stock mounts are a pain in the arse!

doc is right. the power gain is un noticable and the vibration is crazy. nt only that, it could be kind of expensive trying to find the mounts themselves and the brackets to go with them.

solid mounts are cake to make for the GTE- get some Al stock + bolts. but the vibration is crazy....though not as bad as a FWD car....

what's anyone think of filling hollow mounts with 3m sealer (that black rubber stuff that sets up nice and firm). sport compact ran a few articles on it, didn't look like too bad an idea.

completely useless. you'll tear out the window weld in a matter of days....

makes sense, can you describe to me what they were doing when they stiffened up the chassis with some sort of spray something-or-other in SpoCom's gran turismo 4 builds?
