DL, I may can find you one. I have an 83 sitting out here in a field by my house that used to be mine. It now belongs to a friend of mine, but I can probably get the oil pan off of it if you need one.

If you're in the Tuscaloosa area then call Morgan's machine shop to get your block decked. He did all of the machine work on my 7MGE and I have had no problems with his work. My motor was messed up from the start with pitting and warpage. But after he was done the block and head were good to go.

Head milled .020 and block decked .002. My motor is running a higher CR but hey NA motors love high CR.

Upgrades to your car:Car is stripped down to driver seat, Engine bay is stripped of everything except motor and a few necessities. Motor was fully rebuilt, and was an automatic. I converted it to manual. Block decked and head machined a Pretty good bit! I honestly didn't think it was going to run without piston's hitting valves lol. New head gasket. Topline gasket kit, ARP head Bolts. No cat. Updated hood from the previous one i had with the Ghetto Fab Hood Pins. lol

Going 1J soon. Need a job.

Welcome Brent.......what made you get rid of the black supra? It looked pretty good with those black wheels.

well i got rid of the wheels and there was a guy at my work that wanted it really badly. It was automatic, Na, and Targa...which equaled slow. But it made up for it by having 49,000 miles on engine and a new black paint job. The engine had BHG and a spun bearing. I rebuilt it, check sig, and dumped some money into it. Had a nice stereo in it already put in etc.

i bought for 1300$ broke and dumped in 1700$.

I sold it for what i had in it. It was also my first rebuild.

Made the mistake of putting in a 7m crank for durability but made it slower revving... :[

I know of him, thats about it.
Adding to the hobbies, I also like to play the stock market, and I've made 350$ in the last 3 days. Hoping it continues, and I may go 1J before expected ;).
