This Is a Craigslist find I picked it up for $800 with no engine, wire harness, or ecu. I initially tried to get someone to buy it but no one wanted to. So I bought it even though I already had two at home(sisters). I really need to stay off cl! I have owned four supras in the last six years, and I'm hoping this will be my last. Time to do it right!

My last car was a 89 with a 1j. The engine craped out on my so I was left with a car with no engine and a great interior. So since I like the way the metro blue 87 looked on the outside but not the blue interior with the checkered seats. I decided to get the best of both worlds, and put the grey interior in my gay blue car. The colors go well together, I don't know why Toyota didn't do it. I guess the had a lot of ugly blue material to get rid of.

I plan on building the car up to 600hp in two steps. First is getting the engine in and running then stage two will be cams, fuel system, and stand alone. I also have a lot of parts that I need for my build from my 1j. That should make things easier for me.

Parts I have so far are. (Running total for those thinking about 2j swap)

Nope, I just don't have any pics of the grey interior. I'll get some this weekend, I'm gonna pull it out of the garage put those wheels on and take pics of the interior.

Looks like a nice engine from the outside. Hopefully the inside is just as clean. Cant wait to see more.

You stay with the twins or going single?

Yeah, the first thing I'm gonna do when I get it is pull off the valve covers and see what I'm working with.

Going single. I have a 67mm dm turbo from my 1j.

Thanks, yeah I don't know why they put all that blue in there from the factory. I was unsure if the grey would go, but it turned out looking better than I thought it would.

I'm looking at aem v2. But that's gonna be down the road a bit.

I finally got my tracking number for the engine. It should be here next week. I'm in the process of installing my new brake and clutch master cylinders. Also the non abs brake lines. I should have some pics up later of the engine bay cleaned up. I just got a quote for bellhousing, flywheel, gaskets set , oil pump, and water pump from champion Toyota on supra forums. They came in $200 cheaper then driftmotion. I'll put that money toward the act xtreme 6 puck clutch kit. I'm still not sure where in gonna get that from. I still have to check prices for that. I'll pass on where and what I paid for parts. I'm a cheap ass and will be looking for the bets deal.

I got the engine the other day looks good. Time to start wiring. For the guys that have gone 2j, did you do your own wiring? And if so what sources did you use?
