I bought a car about 3 years ago a burgundy 88T 5spd with targa top
third supra I ever drove and by far the nicest of the 3.
Current modifications
new head gasket by previous owner possibly rebuilt motor (unsure)
all new hoses by previous owner and myself
cold air intake
3" custom made turbo elbow (I made it myself at work)
3" exhaust with test pipe to hks exhaust
blitz turbo timer
profec b boost controller
bosch bov
Goals-
-Find a good decent rebuild quality CT26 and upgrade to a 57trim (keeping mine as a spare)
-Synapse Synchronic BOV (recirculated if possible)
-Walbro fuel pump
-Aeromotive AFPR Kit
-550cc injectors
-maft pro with tuning on dyno.
-Oil Filter relocation kit
-Good set of tires for cornering and street use
-Seperate set of tires for drag racing
-Install pillar pod with boost guage
-Replace stock boost guage with voltage meter
-Replace moldings with 89+ keeping stock tail lights
-Fix broken foglight and rewire
-Replace stock speakers with larger ones with fiberglass enclosures
-Build new Fiberglass box for spare tire well for a shallow mount 10" sub
I dont plan on beating the car too bad as its more or less just a weekend driver around town. I'm hoping to get most of this done by the chi2k8 supra meet. If i can get the motor to last through this summer and next I am planning on finding a nice big shed somewhere close and doing a 2jzge-t swap.
