Decided to go shopping for a clutch for my K1500 plow truck last night. I wanted something quality that would hold up to the rigors of plowing and towing, but didnt want to break the bank.
Found a place called Rock Auto. I got a ACDelco clutch (domestic equivilent of Aisin) for 163.79+14.58 to ship totaling to 178.37. To buy this from the dealer would have been like $800.
I placed my order at 1:30AM. I got an email at 10:00AM informing me its been shipped and providing a tracking number. This is on a Saturday!
I am impressed! I wanted to share this with you guys and see if anyone else had bought from them. I will likely buy from them again in future.

Yep I have used them before. They are very fast on shipping & really low prices. Perfect for supra owners ;)

have used them a few times, better prices than the discounts i get around here. Got my LS400 brake calipers from them, highly recommend them!

I love RockAuto.
Should have searched, I could have saved you 5% on top of what you already saved!
They will give you a Discount Code via Email, update my thread with it and keep it going!

They're Okay.

I don't use them as much as i used to. I get a pretty steep discount at my local napa.

As for 5% off go to RetailMeNot and they always have a code up.

No need for a thread for the discount. ;)

they are ok...

they just have a bad habit of sending me domestic parts when i order toyota.. (breaks, alt, starter ) just dont order ahead of time order when you need it cause ill bet you get the wrong part and if its too soon you are shit outta luck (still have my unknown break pads for my tundra in the garage...)

Strange, I get discounts at all parts stores around and Rock Auto beats them most of the time, one parts store I get employee price at still can't beat them sometimes.

Also never gotten a wrong part. Seems strange that "they" send you domestic parts when you're the one that looks them up, I guess I'm confused at that statement.

Good info. Does anyone know of the gm 5speed that seems to be same as the R154?

Very OT, but yes. The Colorado/Canyon/Solstice GM AR5 is the same basic transmission as the Toyota R154. Also the Jeep AX15.
Ask LimeQuat if you want more info regarding, as he is currently running an AR5 in his Supra which was previously 7M and now is LL8 (GM 4.2 I6) powered.

PM me if you want more info than that. lol
