Rewired my knock sensors and...

got a code 14 and 22....it started good before the new rewire but now it doesn't start at all...i smell gas also when trying to start it...could not putting all the bolts on the upper intake runner do this?? please help me out guys i was working on it all weekend long and the knock sensors look nice now but it just doesn't wanna start....

If you took off the bolts to the upper intake manifold, then you took off the main ECU ground wires. Make sure you got them back on when you put it back together. Its a ring terminal with 2 wires going to it, on the second or third bolt from the back of the motor. Its very easy to miss them.

Code 14 -NO IGF signal to ECU after 3 times in sucession

Code 22 -Open or short circuit in water temp signal.

What method did you use to rewire your knock sensor?

i also can smell gas if that can help in anyway...i did remove the cold start injector so it might be leaking...

can someone please tell me the ignition system circuit and how to check it?? i am pretty certain that this is my problem....

ok problem solved...wrong wires for the knock sensor...previous owner cut them off so i couldn't see any clear wire...now i just need to get a new intake plenum gasket cuz i have a major air leak...thanks anyway!
