call around to different business that deal with machine shops, and stop by your local auto parts stores... they'll usually have heard the best and worst of the local stuff.

and also talk to other machine shops in general, not just auto ones.

You bet been doing that. But as you well know the 7m offers no room for mistakes. I know there is one in Calgary, highly recomended awsome work. But I have yet to shake the right tree to come up with a name. I think they do oil field work, but with the right
conections will do engine work. Thanx Rennat. muzy

Its not so much the 7m specifically... its finding a shop that has good equipment, knowledgeable people, and knows how to use there equipment.

9/10 shops have never done a 7m before... so dont be suprised that you cant find a really good known shop that has done a 7m, and just because they can build a V8, doesnt mean they can build a supra I6.

Muzy found a shop. For anyone still looking, there are quite a few places in Calgary, however I'd recommend Precise Engine Rebuilders.
