i havent seen any question about this. i havent bought them yet but im planning to buy a Viper 5101 SuperCode 1-Way Remote Start System and a HKS Turbo Timer Type-1. i am running a 7mgte with a w58 tranny. my question is will the turbo timer effect the remote start in any way and will i be able to use the remote start on a manual tranny? the reason i ask is because i dont want to buy both and then figure out i cant use one of them.

All the new 2-way remote start's with security from Viper INCLUDE a turbo timer. If you haven't bought an alarm yet, I'd go that route. I love my 5701. I have a very long range and it's worked well for me. Batteries go out every few months, but it's hardly a cost to consider. I spend maybe 5 bucks a YEAR on batteries. :)

i would buy that but im not looking for a security system. so i wouldnt pay the extra money for that. i might just buy the 2 way system without the security system. much cheaper.
