I had a great experience with this company. (The first link you posted) On their website (www.headsonly.com) they have heads for almost any engine. I had a machine shop inspect the head to make sure it wasn't warped and check the RA. I had to get it surfaced to be acceptable for a MHG but other then that it was fine. I called and they even refunded me what it cost for the resurfacing because when I bought it, it was advertised as being MHG ready.

^^^ Smart man ;)
Getting the head checked before you install it is a huge time/money saver in the end.

Other things to check:
- The head thickness...stock (un-cut) is 116mm from deck to cam cover seal surface
- Hardness...has it been annealed from an overheat

THANK YOU JDUB!!!!

I've been looking for that spec everywhere! I've serached "deck height" "head height" "shave allowance" "interference" "head shave" "shave" everything you can imagine and could not find the the measurement anywhere.
