Would it be ideal to rebuild our hydraulic cylinders/pumps? I'm in need of a new brake master cylinder, but one from Champions is ~$250, ~$85 from local auto store, and the rebuild kit is ~$50 from Champions. It turns out I also need to rebuild my power steering pump for the 1JZ along with the clutch slave cylinder. Has anyone here had success with rebuilding the brake master cylinder or purchased one from the local auto store? In general, are OEM rebuild kits worth it?

Thanks

Well, I dunno if it's ideal or "worth it" but sure. I've done so on every vehicle I've ever owned. Never had a problem. As long as the bores aren't corroded or otherwise damaged (light damage can be honed out) they'll be fine. I only use OEM kits though.
