ok, im rebuilding a motor i have, its got 98K on the clock.
it spun a bearing on number 5.
its already apart completely.
I was going to get the crank cut, polishing, everything cleaned, block machined, valve job, new bearings, possibly new pistons from toyota and at least one new rod.
i also planned on the following:
EGR blockoff(how, and what parts needed?)
MHG with ARP studs (what torque?)
Charcoal canister already gone
new plugs and wires
apex'i intake
all new hoses
the bosch BOV
rad. cap
optima red top
im also getting rid of TEMS (i dont have the factory TEMS struts anymore)
i need tires, brakes, pads, lines (suggestions)
and in the near future, BIC DDP, NUR Spec-R, test pipe, FATT DC, and i want new clear headlamps and bulbs and i need foglights.
finally, im getting new fluids ALL AROUND (again, good suggestions)
so its a little more than a rebuild, its a basis for a project i just started.
i know it sounds like a lot :aigo: :aigo:
but any help will be most appreciated.
