I've dropped my transmission to have it rebuilt, but also because I thought the seal was leaking. It appears that it is not. So should I replace it anyhow as the one thats in there is NOT a Toyota seal? Or should I leave it? I don't want to distrub it if its seated fine, but at the same time I have access to it. Let me know your thoughts.

Better to do it while the trans is out... Im my shop we always change it anytime a trans is out at its just cost of part and alittle labor to replace. Better then have a customer come back and say there clutch failed or its leaking oil and if you didnt have it on the RO they can sue you to replace it. So better safe then sorry, plus its really easy and a you know its new.
