Rear Hatch Glass

A few months ago during the end of fall, there was a huge windstorm and a tree branch broke off and went straight through my rear windshield like a harpoon through cardboard. The glass ended up shattering. Since then I have searched local autoglass places and safelite and have come up empty in attempting to find this. I've also checked local junkyards up to 100 miles away and have had no luck.

Is this piece even produced anymore or does anyone know anyplace around the nation that makes custom rear glass? Thank you!

have you tried www.car-part.com ? it's my go to for searching junkyards.

your rear glass is temped saftey glass, so it will turn to gravel when broken.

im on the other side of the country, but i do have a hatch glass that is no longer needed. no idea what shipping would be on it though.

You could go with custom glass, but it would likely be cheaper to buy another hatch from another member. Sorry to hear the bad news.

I wish you lived here, my hatch leaks like a sieve (despite my best attempts to seal all).
