Rad. light on and off?

So today I start up the car and everything is fine (besides the waterfall sound). I let it warm up alittle than I start driving home. On the way home I am going up a Hill and the birdcage/Rad. Light turns on.. I stop than the light turns off. I pull over turn the car off turn it back on...while Im driving it turns back on than I stop and it goes away...5 mins later no light and I am home.

what could be going on?

(I checked the coolant yesterday)

Well the coolant was probably moving side to side making the sensor think its low.

Fill it up with more coolant and see if the problems repeat. Try burping the system as well.

Do you notice that you have to refill the collant numerous times in the week?

Nope I haven't filled it in awhile. I haven't had to fill it up
