R154 speedo help

I am in the middle of swapping a 1j with a R154 into my S13 any my trans doesnt have any speed sensor. It is just an open hole. What sensor do I need to get a my speedo to work. I know I will need the interface box thing.

Also what is the 2 wires on the pass. side of the trans for?

I suggest a local trans shop that really knows transmissions. I have seen shops that can answer questions from the hip because all they do is transmissions.

There should be a mechanical plug in there, the stock speedo is cable driven. If you check out marlin crawler's website, they have an electronic sensor conversion which you could use.

I'm guessing the two wires are for the reverse lights.
