So, I tore my trans apart to install all the MC parts available for it. Got it all back together, now its acting funny. Whenever the transmission is in neutral, the shift fork for reverse should be up against the "arm" like this..
For some unknown reason, the fork likes to pop to the left, causing 5th gear to slightly engage, when it shouldn't. Here is what it looks like when it pops.
I would think there would be more resistance on the fork to hold in neutral, rather than it want to pop into 5th.
