Quick, simple question

Mr. Doward, I have a question my good man..lol. Here is the deal, I want to keep my 7M engine bay looking pretty stock so I'm looking for the best bolt on turbo that will still get me 500hp when needed. I've been reading around but since I suck at turbo terminology, I have just decided to ask you. Do you have any input. Anything would be appreciated.. :1zhelp:

I am not Mr.Doward but I would assume an upgraded CT-26... that you you keep the Stock Turbo, but you upgrade the internals. I know they have ones out there that can support 500 WHP... (atleast I believe so)...

I wouldn't attempt 500 hp, crankshaft or flywheel with an upgraded CT26. You might get there, you might not. But it won't last.

There are many bolt on turbos that will do it. Some cost more than others. The GReddy kit for example can do it with supporting mods and tuning, but is pricey. The bigger BOSS turbos from Suprasport/ITS will do it also. Username Malloynx laid down 540 rwhp with a bolt on turbo from Suprasport, with factory intake manifold and exhaust manifold. It was a true sleeper.

Correct, look into a JT61 or BOSS turbo.

As soon as I get some real free time, I need to update the section on bolt-on turbos :3d_frown:
