is there a benefit from swapping in a JDM 7MGTE?

my goal is 350hp, but i want the ability to raise the boost so that i can push 400 at track days, should i rebuild and re trim my CT26, or should i go with a upgraded turbo kit?

any recoomendations to do to the engine internals to make the 7M more reliable, especially under the conditions of 350hp?

any help is welcome, pretty much i'm trying to build my mk3 to be 350-400hp and kinda stuck as to what performance upgrades i should do, besides the usual bolt-ons.

No. JDM and USDM are the same thing.

As for reliability to 350 do a search.

Simply put, you should be ok on stock internals for 300-350. For how long I don't know. Make sure you oil pump is up to snuff and that you have a good head gasket with some good ARP hardware.

For all practical purposes, there is no "USDM", all 7M's are made in Japan. Some are just fitted for emissions. The ECU's have some differences, nothing worth buying though.

go mhg, arp studs/bolts(your choice), new crank bearings, freshen up pretty much everything, tune it on a dyno and you'll get what your after.:icon_evil
