Quick question about battery harness

I'm not sure where the battery harness wires connect. I know that one needs to go to the starter but again I am not sure which one.

So the two wires that come off of each battery terminal and come together leads to terminals that I labeled A and B. There is also a single wire coming off of the negative battery terminal that I labeled C. I also have another thick single wire that is separate from the harness. Can someone please tell me where each of these wire go?
