quick few 1jz VVT-i question.*sorry couldent find much in serch*

well i dont come on here much and i recently wrote of my JZX100 Chaser. So i got a wreck and a perfectly good 1jz VVTI sitting there and a turbo-a with a not so good 7m *take a wild guess at whats blown*

any way,
1. any one here done the VVT-i 1j swap ? any dif compared to non vvti ?
2. did you use a mk3 1j computer or a chaser/soarer computer ?
3. i heard 2j bottom ends wont bolt up to the vvti head ? any one know ?
4.would i use my supra box with a 1j bell housing or the chaser box ?

1. Yes Soapra. vvti stock wins non-vvti moded
2. Only vvti ECU wll control the vvti
3. not sure here, leave it as it is. no problems with torque on vvti
4. jza70 stuff will work

I've done lots of vvti swap. It's pretty easy and well worth it. Go find a correct sump and mounts and have fun
