PTE 5857 .63 Opinions

Hey guys,

I'm just starting to pick apart my 7m and have been testing the waters locally in search for a turbo for the 400whp range. Someone locally offered a bolt-on journal PTE 5857 .63ar.
Does anyone have experience with this turbo? Anyone have any numbers or dynos?
These are the 2 pictures he has sent me so far, the turbo attached to the engine is a ct26 57 trim, the other being the PTE



I have read dozens of pages about this turbo on civics and evos and such but not much for mk3 supras.

I'm in the midst of doing a refresh on my 7m; metal headgasket, new seals, new rings etc. Looking for 350-400whp for now.

400 should be very achievable with that turbo. A 57 trim will do 350 pretty easily with supporting mods, and 380 is doable with a very good tune.

It should spool pretty well with the .63 also, I would think that it should be well matched to the cold side. A .58 might choke things up top.

I don't have any first hand experience though, just speculation looking at the numbers
