Just a little pre-story:I got this car from my dad about 2 years ago now, it had 267,000 miles and it was on its 2nd engine, but everything else(suspension, interior, exterior) was the same that rolled off the line in 93. All the mods, repair, paint, ect was done 95% by me and no shop. The reason i keep the car instead of selling for a mk3 is the car gets upwards of 35mpg,handles incredibly, insurance classifys it as a family car and ive basically grown up in this car.

This is what it looked like in early 08'

After a bit of TLC i had this:

Then the mods started, rims,sides,spoiler:

The start of the body work:

Coilovers and splitters:

Ready to go in the booth(yes the garage was the booth):

During paint my brother let me drive his 97 cobra, which got me hooked on the feel of heavy rwd cars and here i am on this site :D :

The finished product:

Raped the splitters on a unmarked compact parking spot so i was left stock:

Then found a new front on craigslist and installed(how the car sits now):

That is basically how the car sits right now. That's a VERY condensed version of the story, but this is a supra site on a celica site ;). Overall the car has never been in ANY shop expect for for a new windshield and an alignment, and ive done all the rest work myself(besides spraying paint, my brother did most of that). Future mods will be new rims, tint, new side skirts and rear splitters. The car has 296,xxx on it right now and yes I am only 18 years old.(Puts on flame suit)

I honestly like how you got rid of the pedestal spoiler once you put the more aggressive GT-Four front on..

If you wanna be different, how about a Curren front end conversion..?

@ihate The reason on for the lack of performance is on these engines its either turbo or bust, theres not much else, and turboing doesnt give much benefit and destroys the life :/...

@Raz There was a time I was seriously considering it, but after pricing everything, it was just not feasible(was well over 2,000 for the full front conversion) .
