Do all 89 turbo cars have pps ?

Is there a computer and where its located ?

Any pics of rack?

Reason I'm asking I'm finishing my car and unsure if the rack has been switched. Plus I don't have the computer if there is one.

Thanks

I dont know exactly how it works, but the tsrm shows the pps system in the diagrams. I know it uses vacuum on the pps switch to aid in easy of turning at lower rpms i believe. Not entirely sure though. check the tsrm for proper explanation

Here's a crappy pic, car is a 91. You can see the plug there as well.

I'm afraid you're confusing the air bleed idle-up feature with PPS. Different systems with different functions.

Not solenoid. Proportional control valve. Close enough for this gang though...

I understand how it works.
I just bought this car as a shell years ago which was pretty much stripped.
Bolts on rack were loose and was unsure if it was swapped.
Where is the computer mounted?

Thanks for the rack pics.

Thanks guys
