I, too, love your car. The blue is awesome, and I love how the clear corners set it off. *jealous*
I say do it. I tinted the markers and corners on my black trans am and I loved it. It'll keep the "dark" theme and set it off nice. Also what % tint is that? I was planning on doing 15%, but that looks very nice as well. If I had to guess, I'd say 20...?

im sure either way it will be hot. on the bright side you wont really have to tint the jdm 89+ tails! you can always swap the corners and such out if you dont like em tinted. besides you can pick up spares to practice with for cheap in the FS section from time to time
If you are just tinting the tails anyhow, IMO just get a set of 89+. Only say that because the premium people put on JDM tails is kinda nuts, especially if they are going to modified anyhow. I had the tails tinted on my old dark grey car, pure black. Just looked like taillight covers, I have a pic floating around someplace... I love dark tails. IMO if you did the tails, I'd put the front corners next to them and do them both in the same intensity... even the sidemarkers as well. Just an even spray of VHT on 'em all, would look badass cuz it'd come out very very even in my opinion. Looks like 15% it is then for me
