Here is another shot from the overlook on The Gap.
The bike is a Suzuki Bandit 1200S. The bike on the left is my dad's Kawasaki Concourse.

They stripped the fairings and lights, punched the ignition, and tore up the gas tank lock(no longer opens), left the exhaust though. It was gone for over a year and it still runs, but will hopefully be sold soon.

Thanks guys, it was a good find! I also have an '82 GS550L that I've been trying to get running for a year now. That 650 is fire man! I love it!

How do you like that '08 Joe?
I've yet to see one in person, but they look like a decent package on paper.
And, What size rear tire does that thing have?

It's a great bike. They take well to simple mods surprisingly. Hard to see on paper since it's only ~30hp but there's a number of free mods you can do to improve the throttle response and general better feel of the engine. Alot of the bikes came really lean from the factory so the carb needles can be shimmed to richen it up a bit and improve the rideability. There's a little snorkel on the airbox and removing it gives nicer top end as does a full exhaust(not free) but still a good mod.

It's really light, turns in and flicks over really easy. Lot of fun and easy bike to ride on the track...

The tires a 130 rear.

Has a D&D full exhaust, jetted, K&N etc. Jon completely stripped it and painted everything, looks awesome and I got a sweet deal. Fun, comfortable bike that's fast but not too fast:icon_bigg

A zzr600 would be a great first bike, plus you can upgrade all of the suspension bits with 636 stuff :naughty:
