Please let me know what you guys think about this as a possible setup for a street/weekend warrior 7M-GTE 5 speed I would love to make low-mid 4's on pump and possibly more on meth and high boost. This is not the car I am going for all out power in I have another car (the Teal 92) for that. I just want a Fun street car that is simple and retains some stock parts but will not be "slow".

While I know the "Chinese" Manifolds are quite Inexpensive nowadays I would love the reliability of the stock cast unit, That and I have some money and time already invested in the porting etc of the stock unit.

So the setup would be as follows

*Stock 7M Cast Turbo Manifold (mild porting to clean up internally)

*CT26 to T3 adapter plate with 38mm External WG flange

Tial 38mm External Wastegate

And one of the following turbos. Either one I choose with be using a T3 (.82 Hotside)

Cheaper Option Yet will still get me there I feel. (60-1 ,T3)

More Costly yet Proven to work on supras with good results.(GT3582R)

Thanks In Advance

Looks Like i will have to give it a try and see how it works out, I dont see any reasons why it wont make low 4's even with the 60-1. i just hope the 38mm Gate is up to the task

i also chose the stock cast manifold route with an adapter that converted the stock ct26 flange to t3 and has a wastegate outlet. i am running a holset he351(great turbo btw). first problem was the compressor housing hit the shock tower. so i had to extensivly modify the ct to t3 adapter bu cutting it in half and welding it at an angle. next problem was my wastegate no longer fit the adapter. so i had to make a 90* bend in the wastegate pipe to angle it up. downpipe was completely custom but works well. over all i am very pleased with the results and the cas pulls hard. IF i were to do it again tho, i would have definetely gone with a tubular manifold for the ease of everything.

I just bought a holset hy35w setup for my 7m. I to am using the adapter and a tial 38mm wastegate until I can get a t3 to t4 adapter and t4 manifold. The he351 that 3.0 GT has is the best bet though it flows like a hx35 and spools like a hy35 should make 500hp.
