Found this on Craigslist just now.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/car/591813214.html

I started this project back in May of last year it is nearing completion, mostly needs fine tuning.

The car is a 1986 944 with a toyota supra 1JZGTE engine, rated at 280hp with stock exhaust. The engine is Twin Turbo, with an aftermarket Ypipe to free up the turbos so the engine should be running at about 300hp but no guarantee

The engine when pulled was tagged at 64000 miles, I'm not sure about the mileage on the chassis, when i carfax'd it it was inconsistent. The odometer mileage is not rolled back to the mileage on the engine for reference.

There is some minor wiring things that still have to be wired in, such as the electronic brake booster, and the tachometer needs to be fixed.
The Car also has 911 fuch rims already on there.

Full information on the car can be followed on the build thread at
http://www.define-touge.net/forum/showthread.php?t=955

The car is being sold in "dismantled" condition and for track use only!! not to be driven on the street. If you don't know what this means please ask. You will need a trailer or tow to pick the car up.
$7500 Price is pretty firm but willing to negotiate to a point, no low ballers << don't waste your time, and specially don't waste mine.

Is the 944 Turbo motor that sucky, they saw fit to do this swap? This big of a powerplant might have messed up the 944 natural chassis balance. And the swap looks done cheaply, so quality is suspect here. But if properly finished and tuned, this car will probably be seriously fast.

That could of been an NA car too. The weight distribution is all fucked up, yes, as the 944 has a rear mounted transmission, BUT, This car is really short, so The weight balance is probably just a tad more over the front end.

I come from a land down under
Battery mounted behind the rear axle CL distribution corrected....

The stock motor isn't that sucky but is exepensive to build and is only a 4 cylinder so a bit rough.

The Jz would be a really sweet motor for a little car like that.

Agreed this particular car/swap looks like smelly ass but done properly it'd be a stunning car.

damn that's a tight fit...

People think the stock twins are hard to remove when in a supra, that looks far worse. Not THAT bad of an install, the part that are part of the swap look good, it's the rest of the car that looks like shit...

Looks like the hood mod is required as well...

I have to admit the price is WAY too steep for a car you can't register and drive on the road (LAME).

I'd buy that thing, and rock the hell out of it. That'd be awesome for a daily driver. :)
