I almost have my head off, but I can't get the intake cam out thus can't get a good grip on the head bolts on that side. What am I doing wrong??

You don't need to remove the cam to get to the head bolts. You may need to rotate the cam to #1 TDC/compression, but you don't need to remove it. I've never removed the cams when pulling a 7M head.

P.S. A more descriptive thread title than "please help" would be useful.

It sometimes gets 'jammed' as the caps are loosened, but all thats required, is to press down on the cam evenly to get the the tension off of it.

Which is why it has a specific sequence to loosen the bolts and what orientation the cam should be in.

Welp, since he cant get the cam out, im assuming he didnt follow the tsrm disassembly procedure, and thats why it's jammed.
