OFFICIAL INDY2K9 DYNO THREAD IS HERE:

After struggles with a couple Dyno shops, and the headache of Sunday scheduling, Myself along with a few of the Winged Warrior organizers have decided to rent a portable Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer thanks to Jeff at Modified Auto Designs!!!

DETAILS:

WHERE - O'Reilly Raceway Park....about 100 feet from Supra VIP Parking. :)

WHEN - We have seniority here since it's mainly for us. ALL DAY!!!! :D

HOW MUCH - $30 for 3 Pulls.

I know EXACTLY what you're thinking.
"That's so cheap, I think I'll get RIGHT on that. Sign me up, Jeff!"

:icon_surp Perfect. So, Vote. If you plan to Dyno.
Simple enough?

Jeff

Alright.....So, we'll go with the shorter end of the stick and say that there's 4 people that are planning to dyno...

:icon_conf

Well, Let me talk to the dyno shop and see what they say.
I can tell you, They originally were wanting at least 10 cars to dyno...
So this may really effect the turnout of the entire meet.... :(

It's up to you guys...

COUNT ME IN for the dyno/dollars even if I CAN'T get the car done. I'll contribute my $75 for the FOOD and to be at the event to SUPPORT those who DO want to dyno if I make it to the event.

(My ONLY risk is whether I can make it or a work/family issue keeps me out. I MAY even commit to my $75 if I don't make it IF you need it to keep the meet/dyno plan alive.)

Hope that helps.;)

crisp - I would never expect anybody to do anything like that!
I appreciate that, though. It's mostly one of those things where we need a larger
head count up front as opposed to a bunch of "last minute dyno's".

I'll probably end up paying $10/each for every Supra that plans to dyno just to help up the Dyno attendance.

Scooter, does that mean you likely won't have the exhaust/intake by the meet?

If by some miracle I get the mkII going by then I will dyno. But, I would say to count me as a "no".

I'm glad this isnt happening at the same shop as last time... :sarcasm:

Still will be on stock intake and exhaust.

Raptor racing is working on a nice exhaust for NA's. Just waiting for that to become available. Then maybe I could hit the 200+ rwhp. Last year was around 181 rwhp.

Oh yea, spent money on new rotors and pads, car fund gone for now. But still dynoing.

I would like to dyno but money is an issue for me right now

YOU are not going to dyno?
That's lame, Nate. No more "guessing" you have 500RWHP then.. :3d_frown:

Scooter - Waiting for RR to finish their exhaust? Hmm. Must be something special! :)

Fuzz - I'd still really like to see what you make on your setup.
Hope you can dyno! You are still planning to at least make the meet, right? :icon_bigg

Are U Here 2 take My Baby
I still plan on coming, then whole mothers day thing throws me for a loop.Momma might understand if shes knows there's a car show :)

I definetly like to know what im putting down, i feel like 400rwhp on pump is going to be easily obtainable. Ive been making a couple runs a day making adjustments each time is better and better.Once i get the maft pro boost controller dialed in, ill add c-16 and go for gold(on the dyno of course)

I can has AWD dyno?

I don't want to but could always invite the Suban00bs to help with the turnout...

Well...So it seems we have a bunch of broke Supra owners,
And a Dyno shop that needs at least 10 to make anything happen,
I think this would be really helpful.

Post it on IndianaImpreza......Dyno day, May 10th - Performance Driven (most likely).

*sigh*........This crap is starting to get to me......:icon_conf

Now that we're going to stay for both days, I am seriously considering putting the car on the dyno. I need to get a baseline before I make any other changes and this would give me paper on the 1UZ swap to boot. What are the official details now on this part of the event? When, where and how much?
