I recently just purchased this head unit and I was wondering if any of you with this head unit had any problems installing it into your cars. As you know we have the mechanical speed sensor on our supras, and I think you need the electrical speed senor in order to hook view your MPH on the screen. The install manual is telling me that I need to buy a ND-PG1 speed pulse generator, and I've been looking around online and it's pretty pricey. Is there anyway to properly install it without the ND-PG1? Thanks in advance.

Nope no need for it. Just use the write up I made awile back. It taps into the TCCS speed sensor IIRC
