Kelson, I'm in love with the color of your car.

Thanks, I actually get that alot surprisingly. I painted it myself with the cheapest paint money can buy (which to be honest I'm really happy with. I works really well). anyways its this paint http://bit.ly/10SngMZ good stuff for the price. I'll be repainting it the same color this summer because I really didn't do a great job last time.

Saw this 41 GMC pickup today while I was seeing how my engine swap is going. Nice to see an old Classic!

Got out to a park in Ann Arbor, MI over the weekend. It's the first time I've busted out the DSLR in a long time.

At first I was going to suggest that those must be as rare as teeth on a hen in that part of the world, but then I see a newer Dodge Charger in the background of that last picture? Do you guys have a lot more American cars there than I would think?

Looks suspiciously like one I recently bid on, but I know it wasn't you who ended up with it. Here, read up on these, I think you'll like what you find:

http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid=4537&parentid=0&stocknumber=13-16200 CUSTOM

Expensive, yes, but when I end up building a Miata, this is what will be between it and the control arms. ;)

HECK NO! that's twice as much as what I spent on the car! My build is going the opposite direction. I am attempting to part out the miata to get back the money I spent on it and have it end up more like this:

so with the 1500lbs I'm aiming for the spring and damping rates would be way off anyways.

Picture doesn't show up for me for some reason? I'm guessing you're doing a re-body of some sort? Some neat ones out there for sure. But if you're retaining the Miata itself (by the way the AFCO's can be had with custom spring rates), if you drive on roads anything like the ones I do, that suspension is perfect. :)

^that is the "ontario power generation nuclear security" truck,
fuelling up en route for more equipment installs. I would imagine its designed to enter radioactive hot spots
