Install isn't that bad as long as you car read the wiring diagram to tap into the speed sensor and reverse lights, ect. I have a thread on install and what wires if needed. Just have to search for it.

There great to have, and the fit is awesome. The only problem is having the Nav screen this low. It is kind of a pain in the ass to look at while driving or sitting in the supra. But never the less it is something to get used to.

I have to give, using it while driving, for experienced drivers only since your eyes are required to move quite a distance from the road to look at the screen.

yeah the double din makes the interior clean, i cant wait for my JVC DD to come in with the detach face. my single flip out is great when on long drives its not to low.

Any comments about how these systems work? I read reviews and see complaints about freeze up and slow booting and so on. Is it real, or are these just from grumpy people whining?

i haven't had any problems with any of the jvc, pioneer, or alpine units... probably depends on which system you get.. one time i bought an off brand dvd player for 100 bucks and it was shit.. but obviously you get what you pay for
