does anyone know how strong the nipples on the valve covers are? i was thinking aobut just threading those. but i also have thought about drilling them outbut the underside of the valve cover looks like it has diversions that help the unwanted gases flow up and out. are those very nessicary? all you genious chime on in

I come from a land down under
No you leave the baffle in place (they act like a catch can to seperate liquids from vapors)

I'm talking about the steel tubes that stick out the top, just tiwst and pull and they pop out then you drill and tap the cover making sure to wash them thoroughly in gas then hose em out to remove any chips left from drilling and tapping.

A tip here is go slow and grease up the drill bit and tap to help catch the chips.
