Maybe I'll be there. That is right around the time I am getting stationed in Dallas, so I'll let you all know. This one should be pretty awesome though, especially if the event actually happens this year! Last year's turnout was lackluster, but a few people made the drive and it was fun.

Complete with a slight chance of winning....perfect weather lol

This year WILL happen. We had 12 mkiv at one meet in Portland and what 9 mkiii at the last meet in Seattle? That alone is a great group!

I can't speak to this specific event, as I'm not running it this year, however...

It's always been open to other cars in the past, and other cars running Supra power plants are a bonus. Admittedly, we've tried to limit the off topics, and we tend to restrict the trophies and awards to actual Supras. Furthermore, I've had guys try to enter their rusted out '82 civic, and had to listen to them complain when I said no. I don't understand some people...

Plan of events:
FRIDAY Drags at Portland International Raceway (PIR)
SATURDAY Dyno at Portland Speed Industries (PSI)...
Might we also consider adding an Open Track Day at PIR on Sunday for those of us who like to drive at speed on the road course?
I see on the PIR event calendar that the Porsche Club is holding a Track Day that Sunday, June 8th.

Thank U!
I'd love to see a group of Supras on the circuit. It's a fast course well suited to our high power cars, with two high speed straights....

Ya just hoping they aren't going to care about the few that don't have the classified training that they require for track days, I hope they'll will just let us run at our own risk and liability
