I'm trying to figure out what oil I should put in my Supra. I just got it about a month ago and have no idea what oil its been running on, if that matters. Its a 1990 7mgte with 137k miles on it. As far as I know its the stock motor, only thing I know thats been done to it is an HKS metal head gasket and ARP studs. The car runs like a top and personally the smoothest running 7m I'v ever heard. Anyway, my main question is what Weight of oil, and what brand should I use in the car assuming its still the stock motor with 137k miles on it? Trying to avoid rod knock, I know there are many factors that can cause rod knock. I just want to get the type of oil right. The car doesn't burn or leak a drop of oil so that's a good start lol. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks
