oil in spark plug

there was some oil in the back spark plug near the firewall... i found it because the supra wouldnt start after i took the oil out it fired right up. i just added oil if i added too much would it have caused this oil or is it time to change the valve cover

not sure how adding oil could have done that unless you missed and it went down the galley and you are on an incline, all ending up on #6?

I would otherwise bet valve cover gaskets.

My bet is on valve cover gaskets as well. Maybe a bolt for the valve cover loosened up a bit back there?

id say replace with all allen head screws. a lot easier to get out, without stripping out like a straight blade or philips head.

what size allen screws would i need?

there is a write up on this somewhere, look for "valve cover bolt upgrade" or something.

Also they sell a "kit" somewhere, so you woudln't even need to run down to Ace hardware and buy your own bolts!

Maybe someone has this info handy?
