I am in the process of a full rebuild. I had an engine builder tell me on a turbo engine that you should replace the oil cooler with my rebuild.

Has anyone else ever done that here. I've owned 2 Supras and have never heard of anyone doing this. Although a really excellent idea as it holds the old oil from the engine.

Should be flushed, no need to replace.

Also, it's dumped into the pan, so it would have to go through the oil filter before the rest of the motor, so anything that might be in there is going to be caught (in the case of say a rodknock engine)
