I'm in favor of a meet in the Spokane area, preferably, during the Spokane Festival of Speed June 4-5 or July 14-17, which is the Gran Prix: http://www.northwestmotorsports.org/festival_of_speed.htm.
During the short time I was there seeing folks I've only read, I was helped to save a $500 custom Radiator, (thanks Kenny), and saw an original Supra 7MGTE, in an original MA70, with some really fine wheels I'd have liked to roll away with from the M&G.
Charles, your Supra's paint job is sweet! It was nice to have finally met you and your lady. Oh, and your significant other too!
Thanks to you and Mark, for getting this together. I appreciated it. Van

It was a good time, frankly the best parts for me were the drive down and the drive back. Centralia to Sedro Woolley in 2 hours. ;)
Damn...doin' the tube steak boogie northbound!

it was great to see you again Kenny - I will make the drive the other way the next time we see each other, especially after hearing how bad your drive back across white pass was...

Ditto Charles! Good to see y'all and thanks for hanging out with us for lunch!

Kenny...I can finally put a sunglasses wearing face to your voice! Great to meet you finally man!

Drysiders...plan a meet...it's high time we did something in the Tri...I'll keep my eyes peeled for an announcement!

Same here man. Thanks for all the parts over the years! :)

And yes! There is already something in the works for a Meet out our way. The initial idea is in September maybe...? I'll post it up when we get the details ironed out.

The July weekend is the supra event in BC so would probably not get many to come

True; but, for those less fortunate folks that can't swing Supra Nationals, it might be a nice alternative. If not July, maybe September...? That's what we're currently kicking around.

Checking to see if we are having the excellorator show at silverwood this year, I emailed the promoter to see. Last year was fun a nice batch of cars and a day in the theme park an water park. Would be great to do it and maybe plan a little road run also the following morning then everyone go home

A show in the September timeframe would be nice, break up the monotony between the PacNW show and SILV.

I thought SILV was every other year now (even years). Just checked the website and and didn't see anything new (and KeithH wasn't at Centralia to ask).

I'm up for a Tri-cities meet as I'm there a few days every month. Might even make a Spokane meet (a city I've rarely visited). Good meeting you KPR and Spokane folks this time.

For a dry-side meet, I wouldn't recommend July-August as most of the cars on the wet-side do not have working A/C. Plus family vacations, etc. Sep-Oct is usually good weather there.

There were a couple of small Tri-Cities meets in 2007-8, mostly MK IIs showed up (one at Columbia Park, another at Dave Barton's (DJordan on this forum) in Kenn.). If there is a KPR meet, I'll recommend Seattle folks take WA-10 (Cle Elum to Ellensburg) and WA-821 (Yakima Canyon) for fun driving (and WA-24 out of Yakima for speed).

Thank you to the MKIII guys who helped me figure out my brake light problem. I took home the lamp failure box and re-soldiered the 1 connection that everyone thought was the problem and my brake lights work again!!! :D The meet was a blast, Had a fun ride back until the MKII's I was driving back with ducked off the freeway...

Fun ride back south till Bob decided to start seeing things...... Like Cops at a rest stop that we passed at around 110mph. Freaked me out.

None of our radar detectors went off and only Bob saw the cop so we thought he was seeing things... The next post on the forum...

Talked to Bob, he is absolutely certain he saw rollers. Had a Stater pace me and Bill for 5 miles after you guys ducked off, it very well could have been what Bob saw, he was VERY VERY interested in our Supras, lol, but we were rolling at the speed limit...He took first JBLM exit.

Glad we were safe rather than sorry... Fun meet. Hope to see a lot of you at Nationals in BC this year. :)

Here's a tid bit of us passing various slow pokes on our way back over White Pass.

It was hard to drive with fins and a snorkel...

Good Video !!! Like the passing of the snow plow. Any thoughts while passing it? Like is there snow at the top? I drove I-90, should of had the ProCam with me. Never have seen a downpoor like it. Cars and TRucks were making waves of water and if you tried to do the speed limit or go any faster I feel like my Supra was hydroplaning. Do you have any other pictures or videos?
