OEM driveshaft question

I'm curious does the front yolk com off our stock 2pc driveshafts? I have a shaft from an auto turbo model, and if it can still be of use to me later on I would like to keep it.

If not then how would you go about retaining the 2 piece driveshaft with another transmission such as say..a t56?

basically useless unless you have a stock auto. The lengths will be different. But yes you can remove them.

So I couldn't have the single front half extended/shortened and try and find a yolk that would mate up to the u joint and the t56?

Since you say it does, how? For the life of me I can't tell how it would disassemble. Maybe I'm not looking at it right.
