what was involved with the flaring of your front fenders Rodel? I'm assuming cut>roll>pump>bondo>paint?

No cutting. Just used a fender roller to completely flatten the fender and make it flare out, hammer and dolly body work, bondo, then finished it off with paint

Holy....

Damn only in California do you see things like these, I'm seriously in love, haha.

Bad-ass ride man, not many people chose to go this route in modding Mk3's So i salute you and others who do it, and make it look A+ in the process.
this car is definitely inspiration for when i get one.

P.S: What coil-overs are you running?

What went into "ghosting" the hood?

And the only nitpicky thing about your car that I can say is your exhaust looks a little low, other than that it's almost part for part what I wish my car looked like (but in red of course)

Ghosting is basically a fade. The edges of the hood are dark. The darkness fades towards the center of the hood.

The big canister, hanging low was my intention. The look I wanted.

The canister is actually mounted as far up as possible. Its a huge canister.

Looks like a long haul and your car turned out awesome R!!

Duane

Thank you, Duane. Indeed, the haul has been long. I hope to finish this project in 2011.

The next event for the Supra was Toyotafest 2010.
There were 2 major changes: the 2J swap and ARZ Performance front and rear brake upgrade. Props to Kaizen Motorsports.

Thank you for the positive comments, gentlemen. Below are the most recent pictures, from the 2010 Nisei Showoff in Los Angeles, during the month of August. I didn't take pictures of my car, I found these in other websites.

The Supra MK3 enthusiast is not me (BTW, Nick's car is to my left.)

The only new addition from the previous meet, the 2010 ToyotaFest, was the Hella fog lights. Also I switched from the SSR MS1 to the Volk Racing GT-S.
p1623919_3.jpg

This is how they look turned on. I installed 6500K HID in them. I did the foglight mod. During day time driving, I turn them on for the daytime running light effect, but leave the driving lights retracted. In the evening, in the attempt to decrease attention from the po-lice, I turn the fog lights off.

These guys look either puzzled or curious about the "ghost" painted carbon fiber hood.

I assume those are the "city light" version of the Hella high beam modules? Explains the amber color if they are. Do you have them wired to have all 4 lights on when you pop the high beams?

Oh, and the new wheels are sick as hell.

The high beam lights are the D.O.T. without the city light provision. I have HID in the driving light projectors, so I never use high beam. There are H9 LED bulbs in the high beam lights, wired so that they come on with the driving lights.

I've actually had the GT-S wheels for over a year now. I switch between the MS1 and GT-S from time to time.

Of course, we'll swap cars. My car isn't that low. You could roll a soda can under it.
