So my buddy's 1jz swapped Mk3 vs a local 350z.

Mods for the 1jz
Full 3inch exhaust
Stock twins 16psi
R154 act 6puck
Bridge stone street radials 255/r16
AFPR
Intake
Shell is gutted from front seats back.
Had 115lb passenger


350z rumored to be a S tune
Owner says just exhaust and intake and its a 6speed.

Mmmm... cell phone video... :p

I miss living at 2000' elevation. Up here that would have been a massacre, that Z would have been winded by 3rd gear.

What's a piston gasket? Head gasket?
Consistantly putting down 210rwhp, I'm gonna guess that it's an early model 287hp Z. With intake a exhaust mods I can see him hitting 210 on a dyno. He's probably so secretive with his mods cause he prolly doesn't have anything other than I/E. Wants to keep you guys guessing while claiming he runs a Nismo engine with nitrous.

Nonetheless, good race.

Only thing is I don't think a 210whp 350z would keep up with a 320-330whp gutted mk3 like that.

All the others he has raced have fallen on there face.

Secret lol. I wish I knew lol. If all 350z' where that quick with exhaust and intake definitely think we would see a lot more out there even though there already all over the place

I don't think the Nismo version of the Z cars are anything more than slightly larger exhaust, & some suspension upgrades. As far as power goes, all models remain pretty much the same.

He's got something. I'm thinking CAMS n head work or some type of Turbo with recirculating BOV. U can't hear the whinning of a SC or a regular BOV. Next time I see him I'll ask him to let me see his motor.
