I just got home from a long night at the shop! We dyno'd my car with the new CT57 trim turbo and made some great power!

370WHP and 374ft lbs of torque with a killer power band through a A340 with my custom valve body and with the torque converter unlocked on 16 PSI. Ran out of fuel with the 750CC injectors. I need to go to a bigger pump because we logged fuel pressure and it was dropping off 20 PSI could possibly be a ruptured hose in the tank so going to look into it tomorrow!

The power band is damn impressive for stock NA cams at this power level (custom cam timing) Very happy at where its at now compared to before.

Specs and setup

7MGE (Full NA-T) 152k old all original except for felpro head gasket and ARP bolts
Stock NA cams (custom cam timing)
A340E Custom valve body shift kit (8 row hayden cooler)
CT26 57 trim turbo (External waste gate setup on stock manifold)
DM FMIC
NGK BKR7E's gapped to .25
Stock GTE ECU (Knock Sensors bypassed) *don't try this at home kids*
Greddy Emanage blue (Injector control, software and tuning)
RC engineering 750CC injectors
Lexus AFM (screw all the way out)
E85 Pump gas
IGN timing @ 10 degree's base

This is on a Eddy Brake load hub dyno

We could have advanced the timing probably 2-4 degree's on the base and still been fine but decided we were going to leave it where its at until we sort out the fuel issue.

Thanks,
Devin :) Enjoy!

You gotta understand its making 500 crank HP. Remember about 25% drive train loss through the auto and torque converter.

And E85 uses 30% more fuel to achieve the same AFR's than regular 91 or 93 octane.

HELL YES! E85 FTMFW! We just didn't want to add in timing until we got the fuel issue sorted. I think I'm just out flowing the single walbro so its time for a single DW300 pump or dual walbro's.

Probably would have been around 420 ish with timing added and a few more lbs of boost. The power band on it is awesome though and pulls like crazy!

This is also on a low reading dyno. Probably close to 450+ on a dyno jet.

Hey Toyotanos could you PM me a copy of your dyno graph? I'd like to see your HP and TQ curve

=] Right. Gotta love E85. Roomate was knocking in his talon with a small 20g at like 12psi (high comp pistons). converted to E85. is boosting no wastegate (35psi) on a HX35 no knock at allllll

Best pic I have atm, vertical line is at ~4600rpm. I'll see if I can get a good copy of the whole thing.

]No nothing to do with rod knock its just a term.

Thats what detonation is called. knock count, thats what knock sensors are for, if they see knock they retard the ignition timing

watch the whole thing its a very informational video
