Hey everyone,

My name is Danny and I'm currently living in Greensboro, North Carolina. I may have had the chance to meet a few of you outside of the forum, but I'm a pretty new face here. I wanted to share some photos of my 1991 Nissan 240SX. The car serves as my weekend warrior and drift car. Before, I had a S14 SR20DET motor swapped in making around 310whp. I decided I wanted to step things up and have always wanted to do a JZ swap.

I've purchased numerous motors from Carlos at JDM of Miami before, so I hit him up and he had a very nice looking 2JZ-GTE VVTi from an Aristo. I sold off my SR stuff and bought the JZ. Swapped it in and she's running, but I'm currently waiting on my harness to be modified for a MegaSquirt 3 box. This is being done by Jordan at PowerSquirt.

Anyway, quick rundown

- 2JZ-GTE VVTi motor (stock internally for now)
- BorgWarner S363 .91 A/R divided turbo
- Conversion mounts from Xcessive Motorsports
- R154 Soarer Transmission
- ACT 6 Puck Clutch and HD Pressure Plate
- Modified Supra 3" downpipe

There is a ton I'd like to post about, but I'll do that in a full on build thread. Here are some photos of the car and it's current progress:

The car:

Latest - got a GTE non DBW upper intake plenum and throttle body. This is a mockup.. but I decided to ditch the stock ECU and what not for this setup.

i love real drift cars. my first was a 89 7mgte supra that was BEAUTIFUL until i took a year "learning" to drift and after that there wasn't a straight piece of metal left on it. but fell in love with the sport and got some lessons and now its a lot more fun! welcome
