Its funny that now I see this after starting a carbon fiber trim set, im doing them in a one off style though more of the pre 89 look really.

I just saw both threads, looking forward to both. I have 89+ trim on the back of my car, pre89 on the rest of it, and my mom totally destroyed the driver side trim piece with her door, so one day I'll be replacing it all with something new and matching. I'm partial to your idea with the pre89 cf, and I think the two tone colors of it are real cool as well.
Looks good, interested in price Though i dont think carbon fiber would be a good idea. One problem is cost, and two is if someones going to hit your car with there door, chances are thats where its going to hit. The cost wouldnt be that big of a deal untill you have to replace a few pieces 2-4 times.
Hi guys here are a few pictures of the install of the fiberglass +89 body trim. Im pretty happy with the results, all of the pieces have at least one bolt to secure them to car, i used urethane silicone to glue the rest, when it dried its pretty solid.
