Alright,
I had my 1jz swap done in my 88 supra, everything worked in it.
Got to the body work stage and decided to pick up a new shell and swap everything over.
White pkg 89.turbo/5-speed

Now comes the questions..
Im finally putting my dash back togeather and I can't seem to get my tacho to work at all.
Ive tried taking signal from the Diagnostics box with no luck, tried from the ignitor with no luck.
Figured it was time to pull out the volt meter and check voltages.
Tach is getting 12.xx volts from the gauge cluster (atleast it has power..)
On the signal wire for the tach I get at idle 0.28-0.30 and it does get higher if I increase RPMS.

Im just not too sure on what the voltage should be on that wire.
When I turn the key to the on position the tach moves to 0 but once started I have nothing.

Ive spent about 10 hours in total trying to figure this out with no luck, Looking for pointers/an answer if its out there.

Was your 88 a turbo car? If you're trying to use an NA tach with a 1JZ its not going to work properly. If you had a turbo car, then I have no clue hahaha. Good luck!!
