ok i need rotors for my car, does any1 kno any fairly cheap ones that will work well because im looking around and i cant find slotted and drilled for under $330. i found oem rotors for $120, also are they easy enough for me to install myself or should i have them put in by a mechanic?

Rotors are easy to change. just need to take the calipers off and that is only 2 bolts. As for rotors stay away from slotted and drilled unless they are high quality because the drilled part tend to crack. I would run Brembo Blanks, they are basically oem replacement which are i think $70 each.

I agree with BorHor...stay away from drilled rotors. Slotted is fine...drilled can tend to crack.

I have heard of some cross drilled rotors cracking. But after 4 years of having them front and rear on my car, still no cracks.

What kind do you have?

Not really sure Borris. I bought the car sight unseen. It sat in my backyard until I could afford the engine. I didn't even notice the rotors until it was time to do the swap several months later. :dunno: I'm not sure how long they were on the car before I bought it.
