Need help with my hks coilovers

Hey everyone, i bought my first set of coilover and they were the hks hipermax. They each have a valve which im not sure what it does, and i dont wanna mess with it w/o knowing what it does. Also i heard i need a special tool to adjust these? Sorry for the derp questions guys >_< any help is appreciated im installing the rears as we speak. Thanks!:cry:

if it is like most other coil overs the valve at the top adjust the damper setting generally counter clockwise is soft and clockwise is stiff. as for height adjustment it should have came with two hook looking things that will be obvious were you need to hook them to to loosen and tighten the coils

no they are used, hipermax's are discontinued :]

Yep, you'll need a pair of spanner wrenches to adjust them. I think you can still get them from HKS. All spanner wrenches are not made the same, so I recommend getting them from the company that made them.

as for adjust damper IMO start of from 0 (full soft) and work your way up in increments of 2 clicks
