As the title says I have a short. Here is what happened. I just finished rebuilding the engine and installed like the usual. Hooked up everything as it was before. My problem is when I hooked up the battery to get it started it turned on my dash lights. It shows the CEL ebrake door light battery light and the time. There is no key in the ignition. The lights are very dim. Thats with the doors both passanger or driver door open. Once closed everything turns off. Then if I go in and close the door it shuts off everything. Im really stumped. Ive been trying to figure it out for the past 2 days. Cant find it. Any help would be appreciated.
