(CARNAGE PICS IN POST #8)

Coming back from the Tacoma Sonic meet, I had a bad flat on the front left tire. I called my wife and had her pick me up so I could go home and grab a spare and jack. Specifically left the flashers on so this wouldn't happen... "Better a dead battery than a dead car," I thought to myself as I left her...

I returned and all i could find were some trim pieces.
Called WSP and it's at Nisqually Tow...

That sucks dude, fu@#in people on the road these days need to learn how to drive or not drive at all. The state needs harder driving tests if you ask me.

Just to let you know most drunk drivers are attracted to lights. They tend to veer toward them. It's a good thing it happened when you were not there changing your tire. Could have been alot worse.

So the front clip is fine. The engine looks fine. Contemplating plans for it now...
What to put a beastly sounding 7M-GE in? Old corolla wagon? Old pickup? hmmm...

Suggestions?

I have no idea who did it. I found a blinker light off of an 18 wheeler at the scene...

All my questions have to wait until monday, when insurance and the WSP will return my calls/process my claim.

I'll be getting the car back and I will be parting it out. The engine is great will be a beast swapped into something smaller and older. Many other salvageable parts.

I'll have to see how much I'll get from insurance before making plans to get another project/toy Supra.

The next Supra I own will be a MK3 with boost. Won't be getting it until 2012 most likely, after my deployment.

you're probably right about the semi. the upper part of that rear quarter panel does look creased by a semi bumper. sorry about your loss...
