as most people already know, my car is black. probably the hardest color to keep clean. My car is a daily driver and takes a lot of beating from the weather.

*i used my camera phone since i didnt plan on taking pics. quality is not all there.

After a long wait for the rains to stop in socal, i finally get a break according to the local news and decided a good rub down and polish would be nice

First just a regular car wash to remove loose dirt and grime

i used a shop vac blower to get the hard to reach water between fenders, bumpers and weather seals

i purchased Meguires Ultimate Compound

along with a wool pad attached to my DA polisher i proceeded to do 2 square feet at a time. here are the results of before and after

after using the Compound on the whole car i starter running out of daylight so i ended up skipping the polish and went straight to wax to seal the paint.

used Meguires NXT Tech 2.0

same thing with the compound i did 2 square feet at a time. using only micro fiber purchased from Costco to apply

i finished after 4 hours, which was pretty quick.

i attend a local meet and suddenly it starts to sprinkle. FML. atleast my paint was sealed thought. most of the water drops just beaded off. HURRAY. next time ill start a little earlier to have time for the polish.

i hope you guys enjoyed!

Looks great. Very well done. I just got my car painted, but I still meed to wet sand, compound and polish it.

I love the MK3 in black. They all look pissed off for some reason :evil2:
